What is the Cake Auction?
The cake auction is a fundraiser for the DCG Booster Club, which supports DCG student athletes and athletic programs. It’s a mixture of silent auction and live auction, with cake and ice cream available for all (for a free will donation).
Cakes are donated by DCG teams, clubs, local businesses and groups to be judged and auctioned off. The top SIX cakes will be auctioned off LIVE during halftime of the girls and boys games and between games.
New this year – what will the people choose? The Booster Club leaders will choose an additional FIVE cakes to participate in People’s Choice voting. The cake that fills their bucket with the most dollars will win an insane prize – $2,000 toward an alternative uniform or gear (at the discretion of the AD). Can’t wait to see which one takes home the top honors.

If you are donating a cake for the auction, please pre-register so we know how many cakes to set up for.
Cake Rules
All cakes are a donation to the DCG Booster Club, and any proceeds will remain with the club. Cakes can be baked and designed by students, parents, or professionals. Cakes must be prepared in a sanitary way, and delivered on a tray or in a box that can go home with the winner.
Bidding on Cakes
Silent auction bidding will be managed online through 32 Auctions. You will have the option to pay with cash at the event, or you can pay for your winning cakes with card online through 32 Auctions. If you win a cake, you will be responsible for picking up your cake. Any cakes not picked up by 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17th will be forfeited. We will communicate pick-up times with winners.
